Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

We write solar proposals to B2B and B2C under different brands including residential, off-grid solar, and commercial.
  • Electronic signature
  • Stats tracking of sent proposals
  • Content library saves time
  • It seems slow and sometimes laggy. Annoying occasionally, but tolerable
  • When entering variables in a line of text, sometimes the alignment and character spacing between the variable and the text is misaligned. Sometimes the variable text appears too high (superscript) above the line and sometimes the character spacing between the inserted variable and the following text is either too small or too big. This shows the reader that it's not personalized.
  • This may be a user error, but when a proposal expires, how can I easily activate it again (change status) to extend the expiration without redoing/making the proposal?
  • Improved accountability. Better tracking of deals and fewer places for faking activity
  • Time-saving - ability to cut proposal writing time by 30%, if set up correctly
  • Browser access and links to PDF documents mean better UX and usability for prospects and less clutter in email in-boxes.
Templates - ability to use a proposal and convert it to a new template is good as it allows the template design to be iterative. E signatures help to gain commitment with the prospect on the phone and reduce buyer's remorse. Variables save time and improve accuracy - less time is needed for proofreading
PD's pre-check/authorisation process is good so proposals can be checked for veracity and accuracy before sending.
It's great when viewed on a tablet, laptop, or desktop (most of them are), but is an unresponsive UX design on mobile phones.
  • Creating training documentation - eg onboarding info
  • Marketing collateral
We were a QuoteRoller client for many years. This is a superior product because it's a better UX and customizable

Would you buy PandaDoc again?

Yes

1. PandaDoc is good for high-value sales consultative selling that starts with a discovery process and leads to the proposal. It's well suited if a product has a long/er lead time to lose. It's good as a way to outline the key parts of the sales touchpoints and get a commitment. 2. It's good where you have gained commitment verbally (closed) and can send the quote/proposal immediately and request the signature while on a VC or phone call, live with the prospect.
