Overall Satisfaction with PanTerra Streams

local retailer made sure phones were installed and working, gave a very brief tutorial then we were left on our own to traverse the ups and downs of a new system. never having a voip system before, it was a big change and very unsettling to not have local help.
we use for our daily phone operations and for remote work when applicable. we do not have a "call center" of any type. our main use is directing calls to other users. sales people forwarding to mobile phones and direct lines for each user significantly reduced need for receptionist answering incoming calls.
  • maintains continuity of service
  • support is responsive
  • there's no training . only documentation is on how to use the desktop app which we don't use. need to to understand phone functions and how to properly use admin features and setups.
  • ability to copy settings between users would be helpful
  • display should show user's actual name vs username when calling co-workers - no on remembers what one's username is, particularly is the phone is just transferred to a new/different employee.
  • NEED a different ring tone for outside calls vs calls generated by on a line on the system (in house calls)
  • ability to work remotely
  • positive impact on time spent answering & transferring incoming calls
-experienced responsive support when speaking to support. Online support can be frustrating. -have had to be upgraded to higher support levels and have experienced frustration at that level with urgency/timeliness. -in my experience, lack of local support/technicians is a problem. once our system was installed, the retailer pretty much dumped us on panterra support which was quite the surprise when expecting to have local support.
it's more than we need at this point truthfully.

a pared down, less expensive option would be excellent.
