Overall Satisfaction with Pardot Marketing Automation

We use Pardot for email marketing campaigns, for tracking and reporting click through and web site page views as well as for on-line registrations.
We are starting to use the lead scoring capabilities and will soon create dashboards for grading and ROI analysis as well. The email feature alone has helped us reach a greater # of contacts which has improved event registrations.
  • Mass email function
  • Daily alerts pertaining to prospect activities
  • SF integration is seamless
  • A little difficult to get up and running... not all that intuitive
  • After 60 days of support we went to email only which hasn't been easy
  • We've struggled with the # of "look ups" allowed which caused hard-bounce and email opt outs. Would have been nice to have more assistance with this.
  • Better email delivery rate and attendance registrations
  • Streamlined web2lead form process.. less manual intervention
  • Better viability associated with prospect activity behavior and as to how effective our email blasts are
We looked at Act-on and Hubspot .... Pardot seemed to be a great fit for our org. based on capabilities, price, integration into SFDC and reviews.
Need to understand the additional # of API calls required.. SFDC may want more $ for more API calls required? What will this mean for additional storage requirements (if any)... more campaigns and data means more storage required which means more $ allocated to SFDC.

Using Pardot Marketing Automation

By then, we should really be up and running well with great visibility into our prospect and customer activities, marketing efforts and using all of the functions/features of Pardot.
