Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Paychex Flex is being used at my company as a time keeping product, time off tracking and payroll payment and distribution.

Pros and Cons

Time clock tracking and importing into payroll
Time off tracking
Payroll from beginning to end.
GL Ledger import

While Customer Service is excellent, sometimes things fall thru the cracks.
Easier product training (training modules that could be done on employee's own time).
Better ease and transition into other Paychex Flex departments from Customer Service.

Return on Investment

We do not use our HR module at all. Easier training is necessary.
More and more information must be handled done by administration and employees. This is not always efficient for us.
Easier training across the board. Training modules that can be done on our own time.
Updated training instructions.

They do offer a lot of help. However, in a busy workday, it's one more thing. Paychex Flex can do this for you however everything comes at a cost, and when you are trying to make a budget, it can get costly.

Usability

It does your basic payroll. It is a great product however our company management does not understand that this is a program that employees need training for.
