Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

Our whole organization is using Paycom. It was implemented after moving away from ADP/HRB for payroll. One of the things we have found it very useful for is the onboarding process as we used to use a manual process for onboarding. In addition, the client and EES login feature is an added benefit as it allow us for our internal processes to be streamlined in various departments. Our users really appreciate the ability to be able to pull up their previous paystubs, W-2, and especially the test paycheck sample. Some departments allow their staff to enter their own tIke off into Paycom for approval while others have one staff member primarily assigned to enter all staff time off for the department. This eliminates the need to have too many entering their time into the system.
  • The onboarding process has provided a better way to do business...less actual paperwork to process. Onboarding at happen at their convenience.
  • Our users really appreciate the ability to download their paystubs, upload any new information pertaining to benefits. They love the mobile app. In addition, they like that their year-end tax forms are all provided in one area.
  • One thing that they have expressed is that they like the ability to do a test sample paycheck by adjusting their allowances. And if they choose to change it, they can change it without having to send/fax/email something into payroll.
  • The mobile application is used heavily amongst our staff. The ability to view their vacation and sick leave balances at their fingertips is a plus.
  • Time Off Entry area of Paycom can definitely be assessed so we can easily enter time off.
  • We would like the ability to enter a projected date so it reflects their estimated accruals. Our company schedules our vacations a year in advance, and the inability to do this makes it difficult.
  • We would like to see more options or ways to pull additional reports, reports by employees, reports by fiscal year.
  • Only displaying active employees vs. seeing all employees (separated, terminated, retired) would be an improvement
  • Online onboarding has really been helpful - that's a huge positive.
  • During the pandemic, the online on boarding has been a huge success.
  • We used ADP formerly and Paycom has proven to be a better product to our end users.
I would prefer Paycom over ADP ezLaborManager as the features are much easier to use - very intuitive. Paycom provides many great features, the ability to change your allowances in almost real time, the ability to download paystubs and year end tax forms, to view your benefits, and upload any documents for changes.
Onboarding is definitely a plus!

Time off entries area can be worked on. Also reports are a bit of a pain to navigate through. We normally only view active employees.

We do like that Paycom is pretty intuitive.

However I wish that Paycom would be integrated with our 401 benefits so any changes are done seamlessly.

The ability to toggle between the client side and the EES side is a feature I thoroughly enjoy.

The consolidation of time off entries and OT hours is a major plus for our organization. Having the ability to manage everything in one single place has maximize our time and efforts. The onboarding and company required certification/training feature has also helped us streamline our process and procedures. No more managing this in an excel spreadsheet. During the pandemic, the online onboarding has been proven successful.
Paycom was great in helping us transition out from ADP to Paycom. We explained to Paycom that our vacation works a bit differently than other organizations - we are a staff union and the vacation is advanced to the employees prior to them earning it. In ADP, we constantly had to do manual adjustments based on their anniversary date - with Paycom, the process was seamless.
Paycom has allowed our departments to delegate this work of managing time off matters to one single person in each department - this eliminates errors and redundancy. Employees are better at updating their own payroll tax information and personnel changes - there is no longer a need to email four people to ensure it's been updated - a big win for our company.
