Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

Paycom is used company-wide for payroll, PTO accrual, and benefits management. The mobile app is also available for employees to use and is a beneficial tool. Benefits include the ability to review current and past pay stubs, request time off, or check availability for PTO. The user may also review personal information and make changes as necessary.
  • Accrues PTO accurately.
  • Stores year end documents.
  • Time is calculated efficiently.
  • There is a 5-10 second delay when logging on to the site.
  • Hourly wages are calculated correctly with data entered.
  • Employee information is secure.
  • The website has multiple benefits, including storage of end of year documentation and current.
Easier to maneuver. The mobile app is available. More options for the user. Employee documentation was difficult to maneuver, which resulted in mistakes. The implementation of services was difficult and frustrating. Employees did not have access to the site and a mobile app was not available. Paycom is user-friendly with great staff for support.
Agents are ready and knowledgeable and eager to assist. Contacting Paycom and getting results in a timely fashion is vital for companies and Paycom excels at this.

Yes

Paycom is well suited for any sized company. However, companies with fewer than 10 employees may want to weigh the costs versus the benefits. From previous experience as an HR Director and head of the implementation of a new product for payroll processing, the cost of payroll processing services can be large. In house payroll processing may be more economical for a smaller company. Pros and cons should be carefully weighed.
