Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

Paycom is used by employees who need to manage their pay for scenarios like emergency medical situations where they can't report to work, need to take time off, and thus need to be paid as per the labor laws of state and trade unions. Paycom focuses here on employees being able to comply in such situations along with having a good experience of utilizing the service and having all the information at hand for quick action.
  • Access to all the HR portal data on demand in a few clicks to plan your leaves, benefits, etc.
  • Easy and error-free experience helping employees get the pay they deserve in a timely manner irrespective of personal time off or working hours
  • All the data is managed by the employee themselves under one login, be it using gift cards issued by the employers or food or ticket purchases
  • Their scheduling feature has gotten an upgrade recently; previously it was little tricky to schedule an upcoming event and thus manage the payments
  • Good experience overall except that initially it needs lots of documentation to set up the user databases where the documentation is requested from the employees
  • This has helped reduce the service tickets on HR's desks, as employees are able to find the data and policy information on their own
  • Employees are now mainly able to look at and understand their benefits information anytime and plan accordingly
  • Employees know of their career progression path in a UI friendly way through org charts and growth of people in Paycom
As a large organization, Paycom has been helpful in employee compliance across the board, helping the employees understand their career path and goals in a better way, simplify the HR processes in recruitment, employee management, payroll processing, and appraisal cycles. This has also helped roll out trainings for employees for consistent upskilling.
Paycom is user friendly. It is a place where employees can find all of their data available on demand. It acts as a single system of record. This is unlike other software which is restricted by company policies for access outside of the organization's network. It can be accessed anywhere and anytime except during maintenance windows, which are very small and mostly midnight in eastern hours.

Paycom has become the single system now for employees doing self management of their data, overview of HR's policies, for HR to roll out training paths, appraisal data, recruitment data, and compliance in different scenarios where employees need to get their pay as per certain laws like FMLA, Disability etc. We read reviews from some nonprofit org, we were impressed, and we were able to see similar benefits. The point being that Paycom offers the same impressive breadth of services at a reasonable cost for any kind of organization to realize the benefits.
Initial onboarding of the HR team--the training modules are very good and customer support was always there for us to understand the built-i, workflows and customizations we wanted to do.
HR has massively benefitted from using Paycom by being able to define custom workflows for reaching and viewing the policies for employees, recruitment activities, finding top notch talent, employee compliance, employee training, and career progression by giving them the next phase of key role outcomes and deliverable definition in a single system.
