Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

We use Paycor to manage our payroll and on-boarding process at our small private club. It is fairly easy for our department heads to approve payroll on a bi-weekly basis. The ability to have new employees complete all of their pre-hire paperwork online is a great feature. It has definitely been an improvement over our previous system.
  • The online on-boarding process for new employees is very nice
  • I like to be able to quickly get online and view pay history of employees
  • The department heads need to approve payroll each period and doing it online is very easy
  • Though I don't use the system every day I have heard from my accountant that some of the promised features were not available with our package.
  • We don't like the "clock in via cell phone" option due to possible misuse. We were unable to get it turned off for our location because it was an "added feature" for all accounts. That should be an option.
  • Paycor has definitely made the on-boarding process smoother thereby saving time in the office.
Our HR and/or payroll team has saved time, but I'm not sure how much.
Some features that were described by our sales rep turned out to be in a different platform.
I find it very intuitive, though the report builder is a bit cumbersome.
It was a long time ago but Kronos was too complicated compared to Paycor
For our small business the cost and ease of use of Paycor was a good fit. Some of the bigger payroll processing firms don't address the needs of a small enterprise like ours.
