Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is our HRSM. We use it for recruiting, onboarding, personnel files, payroll, reporting, tax filing, and communication.
  • Security of employee's information and personnel files.
  • Workflow during onboarding.
  • Organization of payroll.
  • Listening to clients when there are issues and concerns.
  • Customer Service.
  • Time and Labor.
  • Payroll integration.
  • Reporting and Analytics.
  • Negative - time consuming - manual entry or individual changes.
  • Positive - payroll automation; however, a negative is all hours don't transfer to payroll on time.
  • Positive - personnel files are organized and we have the ability to upload documents.
  • Negative - time and labor - needs an upgrade - quicker punch in and better scheduling with shift swap being available.
The community needs better organization.

Do you think Paylocity delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Paylocity's feature set?

Yes

Did Paylocity live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Paylocity go as expected?

No

Would you buy Paylocity again?

Yes

Organization of personnel files and ability to upload documents for storage. When, as the client, I mention things, they listen and will try to fix them, if possible. Time and Labor are clunky. Like a 5-year-old going to school for the 1st time. Reporting needs to be refined. Customer Service is horrendous. 4 hours of turnaround time is too much. Some requests wait 24 hours before a response.

We were quick on the implementation so we need to use the product/tools we have. Not ready to give up on Paylocity yet.

Paylocity Support

The wait time when you contact Service is between 4-12 hours - too long. Our company wasn't assigned the correct support individuals at first, but we have now gotten on the right track and are re-working the integration.
ProsCons
None
Slow Resolution
Poor followup
Less knowledgeable
Problems left unsolved
Not kept informed
Escalation required
Difficult to get immediate help
Need to explain problems multiple times
Support doesn't seem to care
Slow Initial Response
No. I am not sure that option is available. If it is, Paylocity hasn't done a great job in selling it!
They have assigned an Enterprise Customer Manager, as well as a Regional Sales Manager, to assist with the Service issue and the mis-implementation. They have recognized that we are a large company and need more assistance than what was originally provided.
