Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity is used as an HRIS in our organization. I personally use the ATS and found it to be a sufficient product that is constantly evolving. I also use the HR module and onboarding. As a company we use most of the other modules including Benefits, Payroll, Community, LMS and will soon use Time Keeping. We've also found that the community function is very engaging with our employees. Another highlight is the Data Insights and reporting.
- Data Insights
- Easy to use
- Can be integrated easily with other programs that we use
- Candidate self scheduling
- Phone app that allows for recruiting activities
- ability to make notes on job requisitions
- Faster time to recruit
- Has sped up our Orientation/Onboarding process
- Given great insights on our employees so that we can make better decisions.
The automation has been a great time saver for us. We use them in all modules and I personally use them in the ATS. I enjoy being able to email scheduling requests to multiple candidates at once using template emails that are automatically triggered when a candidate is put into a specific disposition status.
We've really loved using the Community, Peer recognition and Surveys...The Premium video is also great, as we use it for trainings and even for our company podcast. These features have significantly improved our employee engagement and allow for us to easily communicate across the company. We've even adopted a quarterly impressions program.
Paylocity just fits better with us. I think it's more user-friendly for our size of an organization.

It is a simple interface that allows for quick implementation. It's easy to learn and there are a lot of self help resources.
Opt for something with a more robust recruiting tools.
Paylocity Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Yes - We launched HR, Community and Recruiting right away, then phased into learning and time off.
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - We were well prepared, tested and created process documents, 2hich were distributed and trained on.
- Learning curve
- Payroll matching up to our imports from quickbooks

Not sure
Yes - It was addressed quickly, but not solved. It's still ongoing and they cannot figure out the issue. Other bugs from modules outside of Recruiting tend to get resolved quickly.
Not me personally, but one of our other associates may be able to.
