Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use paylocity for our time/labor software and payroll. We are a business that is open 24/7. In my experience, overnight shifts cause timecard issues that Paylocity software does not seem to be able to handle. We dislike being reassigned account manager frequently without talking with us and they seem to have less knowledge. In my opinion, account managers do not have consistent knowledge and we have caught them lying.

Pros and Cons

Account managers need all same training. we can call 1 minute later and get another answers that is conflicting to previous account manager advise. Shows lack of credibility

Return on Investment

Negative - had additional payrolls run due to paylocity errors and we will still charged for them
Paylocity does not admit when they have made a mistake or try to make it right

Paylocity Automated Processes

we do not use all the tools. I like how easily payroll reports cna be extracted from system. We wish we did not have to manually fix time cards because Paylocity cannot handle an overnight shift at close and start of payroll periods.

1) In my experience, the download link for W2 preview did not work multiple times so had to call in to get a PDF. Links frequently are not user friendly without glitches 2) Asked specific questions about W2 preview and took several weeks of me reaching to get answer. Account manager did not appear to know how to do figures. 3) No Audit trail so that says there is little to no accountability with our account. 4) last month we had an account manager that we have never spoken to with put a payroll batch in that was ready for processing WITHOUT communicating with us. When I called to inquire there was no audit trail or knowledge of who or why it appeared there. This is not okay to be playing in our company's payroll batch when we were getting ready to put in a batch that actually had to be processed. Account manager that was playing our account never did reach out and apologize or even introduce herself and why she was in our account. When we found out who it was, account manager that answers the phone pushed it off as no big deal.
