Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is what we currently use as HRIS/Payroll.
I manage and maintain all data input and updates, utilize reporting features.

Pros

  • Reporting - I've used other systems and Paylocity reporting is so much more user friendly and straightforward.
  • Things like open enrollment are very end-user friendly and just make sense to employees, thus reducing errors or frustration
  • The self service portal is easy to use for employees

Cons

  • I would like to see the ability to track task management for the HR professional within Paylocity.
  • A Quality ATS
  • Customizable Dashboards
  • Reduced time expenditures
  • Reduced errors
  • More consistent processes
When I joined each organization that uses Paylocity it was already implemented, but I can't even imagine how each organization would manage without the current features of the platform. I look forward to seeing how more automation will affect what we're able to accomplish, freeing my colleagues and myself to work on more impactful initiatives that need the human attention element.
Honestly, I don't believe we're actually using many of these features. I'm fairly new to my current organization and I haven't been made aware of any of these being utilized.
I HATE Paycom. The only reason my previous company used them is because they had a weird pay structure that Paylocity didn't support at the time, and they wanted one platform to rule them all. Their ATS is terrible, their reporting is a hot mess and worst of all they have horrible customer service.

Paylocity is well-suited for any industry, I can't think of any company that wouldn't benefit from using this HRIS. In a world full of options, the ones I've tried elsewhere do not compare.
