Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use Paylocity mainly for the Recruiting feature. Candidates apply to our positions that we have posted though Paylocity, I review resumes, screen candidates, and move them along the interview process into the offer phase. I use this section of Paylocity my entire work day. I also use Paylocity to review my own self service portal, request time off, and other HR features that I have access to.
  • Recruiting Process- It is a seamless process and we can make customizations when needed
  • Self Service Portal- It is very self explanatory and the dashboard is easy to navigate
  • Learning- Being able to easily walk through modules and pick up where you left off is important when you are quickly going though a training course
  • The recruiting side could use more features and customizations. We sometimes wish we could edit access with recruiters and managers in certain jobs, as well as a process to open a new req and get approval from a manager so we don't have to have a separate process for that.
  • HR and Payroll- adding in files to employees profiles could be easier. It is hard when you have to click in alphabetical order to find certain candidates
  • We have been able to use Paylocity as our main recruiting tool, and we can push these jobs out to other sites. This has saved us thousands of dollars.
These tools are easy to use and you can move quickly with them, saving time and resources so that we are able to focus on other things and not worry about a process that should be easy to begin with.
We have been able to utilize the survey option, but I have yet to see us use community and peer recognition. We are currently using a different application for that, Bonously.
Paylocity is much easier to navigate. The workflow is self explanatory and it shows more visibility about candidates regarding notes, tags, etc.

Paylocity is very well suited for HR and Recruiting functions. I have used other CRMs in the past (such as Bullhorn for Recruiting) and Paylocity is so much easier to manage, take notes, and keep track of progress. Paylocity does a great job of clearly defining the application to hire process.
