Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use all of the modules for our company and the other companies we support. The recruiting and onboarding modules are the ones I work on the most. Both of these modules have helped us streamline our hiring process and reduce our time to hire, which is critical in our industry. The data insights for demographics and at-risk employees help us with our retention initiatives, and the HR and Payroll module has assisted us in organizing our personnel files for 100 audit scores. We use Paylocity as an organization for all administrative and field staff employees for the entire employee journey, including payroll and accounting. The system is user-friendly, covers almost all functions we need, and we have a wonderful account rep to assist us as needed.
- Organized, user-friendly, and custom event packets for a streamlined and organized hiring process.
- Ability to track expiring documents in skills and utilize workflows for document collection to assist in compliance.
- Easy job posting processes and ATS.
- Ability to automate and schedule messaging in recruiting module.
- Ability to customize the career page more (backgrounds, video, social media links for the company, images, etc).
- Ability to schedule appointments for interviews through this platform. These three options would allow us to remove a CRM and fully use Paylocity for all hiring needs
- More report customization (particularly if we could just add the cellphone number to the candidate insights report).
- More consistent processes.
- Reduced time to hire.
- Better data-driven descision-making.
- Consolidating all HR functions to one system.
For the side of the business I operate in, the scheduled reports and notifications around workflows, expiring documents, and HR actions have been very helpful. The recruiting module is nice and easy to manage, but without spending extra money, it has limited some of the information we can house on the carer sites and also has limited our postings to just Indeed. Outside of scheduled reports, there are no other automation tools that my department uses at this time.
The videos are great as we have been able to personalize our ads more by adding videos to job ads and the welcome message topics, ensuring consistent messaging and allowing for more candidate engagement. Surveys are great as well for all aspects of the employee journey; we use those consistently for new hires, existing surveys, annual staff surveys, and pulse checks to help make educated decisions based on survey results. Impressions and community are wonderful as well; we do not utilize those as much as we could right now but want to be more engaged in the community in 2023
We liked that Paylocity had all modules within one system instead of having to use multiple systems for recruiting, onboarding, personnel files, and payroll. We have used Paycom for several years, and Paylocity is a much more organized and "clean" platform with more advanced features. ApplicantPro did the job but recruiting in the HRIS was great, and it is also more organized and has more features for customization. Although we do wish we could post to more sites other than Indeed without having to spend more with JobTarget.
