Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity has streamlined our payroll processing. It has reduced costs, and reduced the amount of man hours that are spent on processing 8 payrolls. Paylocity has also improved our onboarding process. We can now onboard an employee all in one application, which is easier for the new employee and our HR staff.

Cons

  • I would love to see the ability to mimic a user's Paylocity account. Currently, I have a limited view of their self-service page but I cannot see much more. It would be helpful to see everything so I can help employees when they have questions.

Paylocity has reduced the time spent on payroll by automatically calculating weighted overtime, calculated garnishments, and taxes.
It is easier to reach our employees through community. We have received a lot of positive feedback on this tool.
Paylocity is easier to use, and has better customer service.

Paylocity is well-suited for companies that perform HR and Payroll for multiple companies. It makes shifting between companies easy. It also worked well for processing payroll for service companies. I would not recommend it for construction companies that work with union employees.
