Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity to run payroll, manage benefits, and employee time/labor
Pros
- Flexibility - whether it's 2 employees or 200 Paylocity was able to offer us a solution that fit our needs.
- Responsiveness - the reps at Paylocity from the implementation to the daily service team have all had exceptional response time.
- Simplicity! The user interface is easy for both employees as well as the system admins. Running payroll has never been so simple!
Cons
- I would like to see the Org Chart Feature work correctly, currently it's broken
- The ability to accept a Bonus % deferral amount in addition to the normal 401k deferral amount would be great
- A full service Tax team, we operate in nearly 20 states and being able to sit down and talk through our tax setup for each state with a live person vs just emails would be helpful.
- Reducing payroll errors
- Ease of use for employees which saves our HR team time answering questions
- Great reporting feature allowing us to track labor costs to the penny
Payroll has been a huge positive for us when it comes to Paylocity. It saves us time to have such a simple clean payroll process
We haven't heavily used Community or Peer recognition features yet but for the little bit we've used it's been simple and really convenient.
ADP and Paylocity are comparable, however Paylocity's pricing beats ADP hands down. I think Paylocity's user interface is simpler/easier to navigate than ADP's, and I do like Paylocity's reporting feature better as well, however seeing some more dynamic report options would be great.
