Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Use Time and Labor, BSwift Benefits, Performance Management, Onboarding, Learning Tools, Surveys, Community, Cobra. Love that I can incorporate all these tool in one place and easy for EE to use and access as well.

Pros

Cons

  • Customer Service Turnover, CS Agents read me articles that I can look up myself and most the time are not sure of answers, didnt use to be this way when I first started with them.
  • Performance Management could use some upgrading and tweaks as well

The payroll tool was a HUGE upgrade, very easy for me to use, saves me a lot of time.
The community tool has been a game changer for us especially since majority of workforce are now remote and or hybrid. Great engagement tool especially for Peer Recognition. Survey tool is also fabulous, we use it exclusively now. Have also just recently started using the video function and the Learning Tools.
Not sure because I have been using PCTY now for 7 years exclusively, haven't shopped around, no need to :)

What I love is one stop shop especially in an HR dept of one! What I dont love is the Customer Service turnover. I dont have a dedicated CS agent that I can ever speak too, they are never available so usually talk to a CS Agent and they read the PEAK articles. I get so excited now when I call in and can actually get an answer. Also find that its inconsistent depending on who you speak to. Several times I didnt like the answer and called back and got a different answer, that is frustrating to me. I actually spoke to a business owner recently who also uses PCTY and they had the same issues.
