Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Timekeeping, payroll, onboarding, surveys, performance reviews and product training. We use it with all of our employees.

Pros

  • Make onboarding virtually much easier
  • The timeclock is easy to use
  • Updating pay rate is easy
  • The Self Service Poral is user friendly.

Cons

  • Streamlining the update position feature. Updating it on position & it not moving over to assignments
  • The implementation process SUCKED horribly
  • Helpfulness / Thoroughness / Caring of the customer service team lacks (service @paylocity.com)
  • Fillable forms has some room to grow. It's useful, but not perfect
  • The videos in LMS & PEAK are often using older versions or not very helpful
  • With Workflows you can't download it from the workflows dashboard. you have to go tot he document library
  • Journals has written warning form, but doesn't allow for signature or acknowledgment
  • better communication with staff
Overall, it's made more work for us, but it makes it more professional and up to date. It's also more organized than prior.
It's better for the employees.
It has helped dramatically with recruiting. This feature makes things much easier.
Our staff aren't using peer recognition. We've just started using surveys. They seem easy to use. We're learning the LMS. It has promise. It's been very helpful with onboarding.

Time & Labor integration with payroll is easy
We still use an outside source for our online Harassment and safety trainings, so I'm not sure if Payocity is well suited for this or not.
It is well suited for performance reviews. The font size when printing needs to be larger.
I like that we can put documents (handbook etc) on the self service portal. I'd like employees to be able to access documents they've signed with out having to make them available on the self service portal because adding them to the self service portal makes it messy.
Well suited for assigning tasks and being able to tell if they've been completed.
