Overall Satisfaction with PayPal Zettle

We used the PayPal Zettle solution as the upgrade to Paypal Here. Prior to that we were users of Square POS solution for our hookah business. PayPal Zettle has allowed our business to scale and keep compliant in a regulated environment. We have handled anything from 300 - 1000 transactions and needed a scalable solution as our business has expanded.

  • Simple Menu updates
  • The ability to update taxes easily
  • The ability to send receipts electronically

Cons

  • Reporting Capabilities
  • Integrations Points with other solutions
  • Time Tracking functionality by employee
  • ROI was fair given the nature of our business
  • Reporting and integration improvements would greaten the user experience
  • More advanced admin features would be ideal as companies scale.
The overall usability was good for our organization. We rarely experienced much downtime or errors when using PayPal Zettle for business transactions. Some of our IPhone users had login and security issues a few times. That was the exception to the rule and we have been able to operate consistently for the majority of the time.
PayPal Zettle is comparable to these solutions in many ways. Toast and Clover were more expensive solutions that involved more time and hardware commitments than our operation needed. PayPal Zettle has very lite admin and reporting capabilities. It needs to improved these areas as well as integrations to other solutions to gain more market traction.

PayPal Zettle is a good fit for companies needing to launch quickly and go with a trusted merchant solution. It is designed for smaller companies that need flexibility with deployment and less complicated implementations. You can be up in running in one day for a business that allows ease of use.
