Use Cases and Deployment Scope

pfSense is mainly open source firewall but if you want enterprise level hardware firewall then you have to pay the money.. pfSense really very good firewall. We are using this from last 3 years..there are lots of features which helps us to fulfill our goals and protect from external cyber attacks

Likelihood to Recommend

[I feel] pfSense is good only for small scale organizations and low security required organizations. If you need deep level packets scanning and other various advanced features then [I believe] this firewall is not good for you.. this features provides you very basic firewall features. In current world you have to protect your organization from various types of malware attacks but this firewall fails on that [in my experience].
