I use pixate to prototype user interfaces for research. I also use it to show user interface designs in a more final stage to my clients.
- You can create quick prototypes without having too much knowledge in coding.
- It shows changes in real time, which is super helpful.
- I can send prototypes with a link to my clients.
- I am missing some features that allow me to for example, to implement the camera of my phone, or the tilt of the phone.
- This program is one of the reasons I get recommended for other jobs.
Right now I am using sketch to create the assets and then I am importing them to pixate.
Before that I simply used video editing software to create a video of the interface, but I was never able to create a working prototype.
