Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Planful as our budgeting and P&L reporting tool. Prior to Planful, everything we did was in Excel. Now we are able to pull real-time reporting and build dynamic reports that are adaptable for any area of the business. We also use it for our annual budgeting tool.

Collaboration with Planful

We are able to publish our P&Ls much faster than we did before. This allows for our field teams to get their information in a more timely manner in order to make changes at the hospital level. At the moment, only our finance and accounting teams have access to the data but we do have plans to allow different role-based items in the future.

Suite of Capabilities

Benefited extremely. We have been able to move all of our budgeting and planning into Planful, rather than utilizing massive spreadsheets in Excel. Now we are able to go into one system that syncs with our Accounting ERP and the information is there. There is no need to upload or download or splice together a bunch of reports.

Alternatives Considered

Sage Intacct Planning and Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct for our Accounting ERP but found that their budgeting and reporting tool would not grow with our company. We had to find something that could accommodate large growth and be able to pull in data from different systems to get the right answer. We weren't able to do that with Intacct, but with Planful, we could pull from Intacct and Dayforce and have the right info all in one spot.

We evaluated multiple software before deciding to go with Planful for our budgeting software. We needed a tool that was adaptive and could grow with our company. We are acquiring hospitals weekly and needed something that could sync with our Accounting ERP and our Payroll/HR software. Planful gives us the ability to sync and have real-time data and can pull live reports. It also allows for just to calculate our P&L within the system.
