- Portfolio and Resource Management (formerly Planview Enterprise)
Overall Satisfaction with Planview Enterprise
It is used by our entire department but most heavily used by the PMO. We use it for work and resource management and some product management. It addresses our need of measuring project cost and managing project work.
- Reporting - easy to get accurate data due to the database structures
- Configurability
- Ease of use - most users are completely turned off by Planview because it is not simple to use. There are too many options in the system. Most would prefer for Planview to make the choice for them, and make that choice an intuitive one.
- Process - the process of resource management (Require, Reserve/Allocate, Authorize) is too much. This has to be streamlined somehow.
- Customer service - it's awful. Room for improvement in every area.
- Unable to provide - most of our data is garbage. Because of resource management, most users either take the easy way out and just submit their time to whatever project is easiest or just don't submit their time at all. If Planview (PVE) could make PVE easier to use, I sincerely believe our data would be better because users would not be so against it.
