Overall Satisfaction with Planview Projectplace

I use ProjectPlace for several project life cycle elements - primarily document review and repository including version control, and tasks and activity tracking using Boards.

Pros

  • Document review tracking with version control
  • Task and activity management
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members on tasks.

Cons

  • Set up reminders on tasks.
  • Provides a simple framework to work on project tasks internally and with external stakeholders.
Easier to use and set up for the team.
The UI is very user-friendly, easy to learn, and simple to use. Project task tracking and issue management is a huge benefit using this tool. Assigning tasks to users, closing tasks, updating details with attachments are all very simple to use.
