Overall Satisfaction with Planview Projectplace
I did freelance work for a company in the entertainment industry that implemented Projectplace Project Management, and all of the employees were onboarded. The most similar product to this I'd used was Slack - Planview Projectplace was like going from Triple A baseball to the major leagues. The ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate users was impressive.
- Organization of every team member in one place
- Charts helped me understand what tasks I had to accomplish
- The software made me feel like everyone was in one big room, working together as a team
- It would be nice if they had a tier for small businesses (less than 5 employees) - I'd love to implement it as a composer, but it's a bit cost-prohibitive
- It was easy to learn, which allowed me to do the work I was hired for
- Projectplace helped me stay organized, which kept me employed;)
- I'm now able to take my knowledge of Planview Projectplace as a skill when prospective employers are looking to hire me

Slack is a wonderful product - I use it daily - but it's better suited for communication between employees in different places. Microsoft Project is a behemoth, the software is has a steep learning curve. Planview Projectplace was easy to jump into, and designed to handle any project you throw at it.
