Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We try to use the full functionality of Procore, but it is still limited and not as customizable as we would like. The limitations cause us to patch together different platforms to give us the full functionality we need.
- Contract management - able to create and track contracts
- Punch list - good at organizing and communicating punch list items
- Plans - good with keeping plans up to date and help stay current
- Budgets - need more ability to customize the budget and have it show what I need and not necessarily what Procore tells me
- Invoicing - The idea is good, but the execution isn't very clean. Needs to allow users to sign the invoice electronically
- Directory and company set up - it is very tedious to always have to set up the users for each project every time. Need better defaults and permissions that can automatically setup the same way every time
Procore seems to be the best option for us. It isn't everything we need, but compared to other platforms it did more and had more value.
Procore has been good and keeping everyone up to date with the most current plans and RFI's. This has helped keep subs and those in the field on the same page.
- Procore has helped us streamline contracts - paperwork is almost gone
- Gain visibility into projects
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Document job site conditions
- Report on incidents and inspections
- Identify job site risks
- Streamline financial reporting
Procore Feature Ratings
Using Procore
15 - Those who use Procore are those who do estimating, contracting and purchasing, superintendents and project managers along with any support staff. No accounting.
1 - To support Procore, you need a good understanding of like platforms. You need to understand the hierarchy and structure of the program to be able to help others train and answer questions when they come up.
- Estimating
- Contracting
- Punch list management
- Unexpected way in which we have used Procore is to link it with DocuSign and have paperless contracts.
- The plans and drawing tools have been a useful tool to help with changes and keep us up to date.
- We look to do more inspections and use the forms tool to create inspections to use out in the field.
Evaluating Procore and Competitors
Yes - Redteam - Readteam was so clunky and not user friendly.
BIM 360 Field - Expensive and didn't have all the features Procore had.
BIM 360 Field - Expensive and didn't have all the features Procore had.
- Price
- Product Features
- Product Usability
Single most important factor was the ability to manage the data of the project and keep things easy so that everyone would want to use it.
I wouldn't have changed anything on the selection process.
Procore Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Change management was a minor issue with the implementation - Training and implementation was best done by learning as we go through a real project and not just doing examples or test projects.
- Getting employee's and vendors on board to use Procore
- Setting up templates and cost codes
- Time for training, getting others trained

Yes - The mobile interface works very well. Only complaint right now is that it takes a few too many clicks at times to navigate through it.
