Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Procore is being used in all construction projects. It solves a lot of the problems with "formal" communications, along with its great qualities in drawing management.

The overview it gives, along with additional dates and info, about RFIs and submittals can be crucial in the running of construction projects.
It has many other qualities, but these three tools stand out.
  • Overview of submittals
  • Overview of RFIs
  • Drawing management.
  • Language integration
  • Ability to overlay drawings in web format
I haven't used other products.
Having a cloud-based solution has helped greatly with drawing revision assurance. Everyone on site has access to the newest drawings always.
No matter who, if it is designers, subs, management - having that assurance is critical. Having the option of giving everyone access helps with that also.
  • Saved time
  • Decreased misunderstandings, everyone is looking at the same thing. Everyone has access to the same files.
  • Less lost communication, due to the formality in submittals and RFI
  • Gain visibility into projects
  • Ensure information is accessible and up to date
  • Document job site conditions
  • Report on incidents and inspections
The daily log, photos tool, and inspections and observations have increased the quality and safety in our projects.
The daily log, perhaps the most important tool in my opinion, gives great insights into how the projects are going, along with the photos tool. Both to have a daily report, along with photographs helps upper management to stay in touch.
People with computer knowledge or younger generations have it easier. Older workers, carpenters maybe, who are not used to working on computers might take a bit longer.
Procore offers a near-total solution for construction projects. From design and bidding, all [the way] to finishing up punch lists.

For such day to day runnings Procore is an optimal solution.

I haven't run into a situation where Procore isn't appropriate.
