Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We manage all of our commercial projects through Procore. I use Procore for everything - document control, financial management/budget, quality/safety, etc. Procore is also how we communicate with the Design Team (architect, owner, consultants, etc.).
  • Mobile apps.
  • Tool integration.
  • Customer support.
  • Drawing mark ups.
  • I believe we have seen improved productivity.
  • Improved time management.
Procore has drastically improved the process and has improved the consistency across the company.
I believe that our staff likes Procore and it makes their jobs easier.
Procore is the only software that I have used.

Evaluating Procore and Competitors

  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
I think at the time of purchase, Procore was the best and most innovative option available.

Procore Implementation

I would recommend having a set group of people spend the time learning it up front and troubleshooting the specifics of your organization before rolling it out. Stating those limitations or clarifications up front would yield a better reception of the new software.
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - Procore allowed a much more consistent and organized way of tackling change management.
  • Adjusting to change
  • Teaching the software

Procore Training

Yes, I found it fairly easy to learn. Yes and no, it all depends on the structure of your company and the resources available to those who may not be as comfortable with software/computers.

Procore Support

Often times the response is either a link to a support article (which more often than not I have already looked at for help), or it is something that the support member can not immediately answer and so it goes moved up the chain, where the fate of a response is inconsistent.
ProsCons
Support understands my problem
Quick Initial Response
Poor followup
Problems left unsolved
Not kept informed
Escalation required
We did not, as far as I am aware.
Procore is typically quick to respond with support, so with navigating the software or questions about capabilities, Procore support is typically pretty quick about providing guidance or stating that it is not a current capability.

Using Procore

For the most part, navigating Procore is fairly simple. It does take some time learning the functions of each tool, but there are lots of support articles and training modules available.
ProsCons
Like to use
Relatively simple
Technical support not required
Well integrated
Consistent
Quick to learn
Convenient
Feel confident using

  • Meeting Minutes
Yes - The mobile app is very useful for specific tools - photos, inspections, drawings/specs.

Procore Reliability

The tools available are adaptable and can be implemented across many different project types and sizes.
Procore very rarely "goes down" and when there are updates, Procore typically does a very good job of communicating those outages or bugs.
For the most part, yes. There are certain tools that are better than others. The two tools that could be quicker are Meeting Minutes and Daily Logs.

Integrating Procore

  • Sage 300
I believe there was definitely a learning curve, and there are certainly more things to learn.
  • I would like to see the Drawings tool better implemented with BlueBeam.
I am unsure at this time.
Sage is the only one I am aware of at this time.
Understand your needs clearly and shop around before settling on an integration, especially when it goes to accounting.
I have not done a ton of integrations.

Relationship with Procore Technologies

Procore's customer service is very good.
Procore does a very good job of staying in connection with users and trying to aid in meeting the needs of their customers.
I was not directly involved in the purchase of the program.
Understand your needs and communicate those clearly.

Upgrading Procore

  • We have not made many significant changes since initially purchasing the software.
  • We are hoping for more tools, specifically for financial reporting.
