Overall Satisfaction with Progress Kendo UI

We use Kendo UI in our customer-facing applications, which serve about 400 users. We have yet to implement Kendo UI in any of our internal applications, we currently use data tables, but moving forward, we intend to use Kendo UI for most GUI-related requirements that we may run into.
  • Showing data in a table/grid.
  • Drag and drop functionality.
  • Accessing remote data to widgets.
  • Better error handling messages.
  • Examples for edge cases.
  • Better looking web applications.
We currently use data tables in most of our applications that require a grid to be able to asynchronously perform CRUD operations on our web applications. It has served us well but Kendo UI has more widgets and better documentation to get the job done. Given the time, we would like to implement Kendo UI where data tables are.

Did implementation of Progress Kendo UI go as expected?

Would you buy Progress Kendo UI again?

Yes

Kendo UI has been a great toolset for our users. It gives them a lot more power over their data than they used to have before. Being able to efficiently and nicely display data to the user's in a web application cuts the need to create several reports for users.
I have not needed to contact support for Kendo UI. Luckily, I have been able to get away with the documentation that is provided.
Kendo UI is well suited in cases where you need to show a lot of data and be able to perform CRUD operations on it. If building a single-page app, Kendo UI would be a great tool to use to leverage retrieving remote data. There is a learning curve so I would recommend a developer practice before using this tool in a production environment.
