Overall Satisfaction with ProofHub
We tried to implement ProofHub for our Marketing and Communication departments to centralize all incoming requests, event calendars and asset production. We were hoping to replace our current platform and save some money while maintaining our same functionality and services. We needed it to provide request forms for clients, project management, and a proof review/approval process.
- Pretty easy to get up and running with projects and tasks.
- Great pricing model.
- Generous trial period.
- Clunky user interface.
- Forms were not easy to set up.
- Proofing functionality was extremely limited.
- The pricing would have been perfect for us to be a long-time customer.
- It was just too clunky to fit our needs (admittedly pretty specific).
- I think the amount of workarounds needed for our team ended up being the dealbreaker. Especially the request forms and proofing.
Unfortunately ProofHub did not compare very well. The pricing model is fantastic and I think the approach the software takes to creative project management isn't necessarily bad, it's just others do it better. For example, Wrike has very powerful and easy-to-manage form creation and Hive has an incredible feature set for the proofing and approval process. We ended up going in a different direction.
