Using Pure Storage FlashArray

50 - Mainly retail clients and VMware virtual machines to deliver cloud services.
We use the array to present storage for vSphere environment and to be able to take snapshots for backups every 2 hours.
The latency is great because we run around 7000 backups jobs per day.
5 - 5 people to support the first level tasks, such as create volumes, extend volumes, etc.
2 people to support second level tasks, such as add hosts, replication, etc.
  • Native integration with VMware
  • Great performance with VMware and Rubrik during the backups
  • Replication with another storage array
  • Multipathing
  • IOps and latency
  • Replication with zero RTO
  • Increase the capacity
Pure storage array is ahead of the pack because the performance is the best for latency and IOps.
