Qlik Sense Enterprise
Overall Satisfaction with Qlik Sense
Our agency recently implemented Qlik Sense and is trying to move in the direction of business intelligence to supplement more traditional reporting practices. We plan on using Qlik Sense to provide dashboards to the general public on key issues and track internal data issues. One of the key reasons we are implementing this tool is to reduce workload on repetitive reports.
Pros
- Data visualization
- Speed
- Performance on large data sets
Cons
- User access control
- Learning curve
- Collaborating during dashboard development
- Delays in process for publishing dashboards
- Stakeholders are excited for upcoming projects
- More investment in talent and training
I thought Microsoft Power BI was an easier tool to pick up and use. However, I faced significant challenges using Power BI within the Gov Community Cloud. While Power BI was more expensive, the delays in feature releases to the government cloud (compared to the standard release) were frustrating. I look at Qlik Sense as a more powerful tool that requires some additional training to maximize its use.
