We use it for our data analytics to make better business decisions. Across the whole organization. It addresses all problems that can be solved by looking at data. We use it to better visualize our numbers as well as how other factors would affect them. In addition we use it to find trends.

- Tableau Public and Microsoft BI (MSBI)
Tableau is relatively easy to use- it might even be easier to use than Qlik but it was much more expensive. The Engineering team liked Microsoft BI because it was similar to previously used formats, but did not have the user interface that we believe Qlik does better. Price wise, it is hard to beat Qlik. There is less documentation with Qlik, but still a lot.
