Overall Satisfaction with Qualtrics
I work at the University of Virginia as a researcher. The university has an organization license which allows all staff and faculty (possibly students too? I"m not sure) to use Qualtrics. The use cases may differ widely, but some that I've seen are: collecting feedback from internal or external stakeholders for organizational improvement, experimental studies, and academic research survey. For academic researchers (like me), it's a wonderful way to quickly gather data in a clean and structured form. The main advantage of using Qualtrics is it makes making a questionnaire – no matter the needs – a breeze, thanks to the large arsenal of customizable question types it offers.
- The large number of types of questions one can use.
- The user interface and user experience.
- Customer service.
- While the user interface is excellent, it can be improved further to create a more pleasing user experience. Some options are hidden at places that are not intuitive enough.
- It's currently not easy to customize the look and feel of the survey without using CSS.
- It's hard to quantify the impact because of the nature of the work we do in a university. One thing I can say is that it has been a far better replacement for the technology that was previously offered through the specialized survey administration center of the university.
- It reduces the time one needs to prepare a questionnaire, which translates to monetary savings.
I haven't used any product that's superior to Qualtrics for what it does and I'm not aware of any.

I used Qualtrics's respondent pool once for my research. I was impressed with how multiple people worked in concert to make sure everything goes smoothly. The amount of revenue for Qualtrics from the project was fairly small, so I was pleasantly surprised to see them spending that much time in that project.
