Overall Satisfaction with Quick Base

We are using Quickbase for things ranging from entry forms, data tracking and anything else that is required by our customers. We have managed to expand past our division to utilize the tool across our whole organization. The ease of use and the ability to rapidly develop applications is a great tool to have.

Absolutely any developments that we have made in applications or advancements in process would be restricted to our local team. Now we can roll it out across the whole organization. This allows for best processes to supersede any prior methods and makes sure that everyone is held accountable. It also allows for everyone to spend less time on legacy paper processes.
We did several reviews of alternative options that would provide the same functionality and we always found that the setup wasn't always more intuitive. We would find that they werent mobile capable and they required some detailed training on how to use the system. we have been able to train users on this system with limited training.

We have achieved anything that we have set out to complete with Quickbase. When we hit a brick wall in what we want to accomplish we can always make a simple request for help and they will help us get our application across the finish line and can be utilized by all in our company.
We have many people who do some form of development and they have limited to zero coding experience. This is a system that is designed to provide the benefits of an IT department type application and only the skills of their area of expertise. If you know how the process works the odds of you creating a valuable platform is extremely high.
As requirements are updated based on system changes around quickbase, we can dynamically update the formats of any tables and in most cases make advancements in the way an application is operated. This is due to you finding the best practices that have been accomplished in similar applications or in other departments.
Anyone can benefit from the use of this tool. If you transmitt emails back and forth and then include someone at the last minute they need to read the entire string. Quickbase allows for users to be brought up to speed in a quarter of the time because you build data as you utilize the system. Emails will be thrown away once their purpose is served.

Once all platforms are ready to receive connections from the outside, the setup from there on is simple to establish. Depending on the issue, a contact of the destination system may be needed, but at the end of the day it is all done via API.
The connection to Service now has allowed users across the country without access to service now to be able to submit help tickets via quickbase. When the ticket is submitted it will then be imported into Service now to be handled like any other ticket and we didnt need to add an exception to the firewall.
I regularly will review the entire user list to deactivate users who have limited activity or never registered their accounts. The recent addition of the Audit capability allows me to always be able to answer any questions i have in terms of who made what changes and when. The controls native to the system allow me to lock down any fields that should not be viewed by anyone.
