Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase

Within our organization, we use it as a CRM. We also use it for all of our project controls and project tracking time tracking, expense reporting, and then of course integrating that back into our accounting system.
  • I think the QuickBase API is probably one of my favorites. Things so natively Quickbase can accomplish a lot, but as you get to more complex problem solving the ability to integrate with other platforms within the ecosystem is really powerful.
  • I think what I'd like to see more of is pipeline channels. So for some of your more well-known products, just as that ecosystem grows, I think that's where Quickbase has a lot of opportunity.

Do you think Quickbase delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Quickbase's feature set?

Yes

Did Quickbase live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Quickbase go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Quickbase again?

Yes

So we've won several pro projects or bids competing against your more off-the-shelf or your larger ecosystem products. And Quickbase tends to be at minimum a third in speed as far as how much faster you can develop and it's also much faster in testing. So as customers one application looks very similar to the next so the testing and that rollout are so much faster as they grow their Quickbase ecosystem.
  • Building and deploying business applications faster
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
  • Solving a specific business challenge
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
So we have four hundred and sixty, four hundred seventy clients. One of the ones that stand out the most is - We actually have a client that we were selling to saving them around $1.5 million a year in just one application. I would call that good ROI and the solving of business problems.
I'm not technical and I can do it. So it's very low on the scale. It's pretty straightforward to utilize and develop a Quickbase.
We actually manage all of our Quickbase customers and their projects in Quickbase. So we have a project management application that our developers use every single day to track their time, the status of a project, where it's landing towards its deadlines and goals, and so forth. And that's used daily.
I think the key there is understanding how it was originally built. So who did it, why they did it, understanding the back. Once you get there taking it to the next level, whether it's enhancing it or fixing it, is pretty straightforward. The biggest piece is understanding how it was built originally.
I think the hardest place for Quickbase to fit is probably trying to do accounting, true accounting where your Sage and your QuickBooks and other products have already done it so well. It's easier to integrate with those than it is to rebuild them in Quickbase.
