Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is currently being used as the accounting solution across our entire organization. It handles our payroll, our accounts payable, and other financial metrics in the organization.
- Online integration with several financial institutions.
- Great structure for paying employees, handling deductions and other payroll functions.
- Not super complex.
- Could use more project management functionality.
- Configuring automatic reports to be emailed would be nice.
- More granular user permissions.
- It is a great value in itself just to be able to count on the software working for us each day.
- There are some bugs support is slow to provide resolutions for.
- With the numerous small issues, that are still rather annoying, the cost could be a little less, but it's still a value vs hiring an accounting firm.
QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions works well if you are a company that buys and sells products. It is great at keeping track of quantities remaining from previous purchases and time periods, adding new inventory purchased, and subtracting inventory sold. We have grown as an organization and have not had any issue with scalability of the product.
The product was rather INTUITIVE out of the box, you certainly have to dig for some things with trial and error, but overall with a 30min tutorial online, we were able to get up and running with relatively few issues.
We have not seen anything unexpected from QuickBooks, it is designed and provides everything we need. I'm sure there are detailed feature sets that depending on your type of business may be useful.
We only evaluated against actual accounting firms.
