Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions

We use QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions here at the CPA firm for our books. My experience is more in assisting clients using the software to better manage their businesses.

Pros

  • Ability to customize reports for management
  • Drilldown to detail of numbers for quick answers or corrections
  • User friendly makes it easier train clients

Cons

  • More options in customizing reports based upon customized fields
  • Having an inter-company posting option that syncs to another QuckBooks data file
  • Increased employee efficiency
Sage 50 (previously Peachtree)-Difficult to correct erroneous postings, Unable to change accounting method, once first selected, Difficult to customize reports.
QuickBooks Enterprise makes it easier to customize and configure for clients different needs, ability to bring in data from a legacy system, availability of third party applications to meet specific client needs.

If using Inventory, make sure to test the ability to handle all needs. Some limitations in regards to building assemblies and BOM's.
