Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

We use for QuickBooks Online to run our entire Software-as-a-Service business. We use it for aspects of bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Remotely available to everyone who needs it without any installation required.
  • Integrates with 3rd party applications (we are using it in conjunction with Zoho CRM)
  • Allows for easy delivery of invoices and quotations via email.
  • Filtering lists can be be awkward
  • Customization of forms can be complicated
  • We were previously using NetSuite which cost us at least 10x more annually to operate
  • Instead of using an all-in-one system (NetSuite), by using QBO for accounting, we were able to get better, less expensive business applications for less overall cost and better functionality
NetSuite does more, but is expensive and difficult to implement and support, especially without a costly integrator. QuickBooks Online gets the job done at a good cost, provides most functionality that firms like mine need and much lesser cost.

It's clean and gets you to what you need easily. There is not a lot of unnecessary clutter in the interface and it's attentive to whatever basic needs typical users might have.
We rarely need help but have called them occasionally with good results. They have built a product that does what it needs to do without much support required. We find it very reliable.
QuickBooks Online is easy to use and well suited for smaller businesses. It doesn't require a lot of training, and accounting firms and bookkeepers understand how to use it. Out of the box, managing inventory can be hard.
