Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced

QuickBooks Online Advance is used by the finance and accounting department as well as company owners. It addresses mostly financial problems, collections, payments, and profit and loss statements.
  • I like that QuickBooks Online Advanced has class option. We use the class to determine from which teams the expenses are from. It helps us determine how much more sales a sales team needs in order to be profitable.
  • I am happy that it has a priority circle feature. It is particularly useful when we need our concerns to be addressed immediately. It gives me assurance that my concerns will be addressed.
  • I think it is more helpful that we have training resources too that help us understand QuickBooks Online Advanced more.
  • First, this is a general suggestion, regardless of the product. It would be helpful if I can match a refund receipt under the "receive" column. Or vendor credit to "spent" column. There are instances when the amount receipt from customer is already less discount of refund and the work around in being able to apply the refund receipt is more of a hassle than a solution. The same with the vendor credit.
  • Second, it would be helpful if when I look at the Bill payments under one bill, I am able to see all the details even if the bill payments come from different dates. This works as well for receive payments. I think it is sometimes difficult to click one payment first to see the details, then go back again to see the details for the second payment, and so on.
  • Third, it would help if there is a feature where we can apply the advance payment from customers to its related invoice. This is particularly difficult for me during the pandemic as there were a lot of customers who already paid but made requests to move their delivery dates so I also had to move the month when income is recognized. There is just too much work around just to be able to apply this as a payment to an invoice that comes on a later date.
  • I cannot provide hard numbers but it has been easier for us to collect from customers using credit cards.
  • It has been easier to integrate Salesforce into QuickBooks and automations have been smooth ever since. Less time to create invoice[s] since everything is automated, we only need to match the payment that comes to our account.
  • It is easier for us to record transactions from bank feeds, less time, more tasks that can be done.
It was easy and quick. The only time-consuming part was adding the accounts, connecting the bank accounts, mapping the payroll accounts, adding the classes and integrating Salesforce into QuickBooks. Others were kinda smooth and easy to set up. Not much training, since we do not use the inventory feature.
Well, the mobile feature was kinda difficult since it only allows to view reports or transactions. I can't even view the transaction history, and I can't customize my view on the reports. I think there's still area of improvement on this part. Other than this, I think it works well.
As I have said before, it is helpful that it has the class feature and we can integrate Salesforce into it. It gave us more time to do other task because we can automate the creation of invoices which is cool by the way! I also like the class feature, since it allows us to see which sales teams are profitable and which sales team need to improve.
If you have to use classes or locations, this is particularly useful If you want to monitor cost centers and revenue centers, QuickBooks Online Advanced is for you!
If you use plain and simple accounting, no worries about associating costs to cost centers or department, then you can use the lower version.
