Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced
We use QuickBooks [Online Advanced] to track bills by invoices, make payments by checks, run reports and bill customers for payment. We use it in one department, between 3 people because we are a small company. It keeps our companies financial information in one place and allows us to keep track of payments and pay vendors and run accurate reports to see our sales numbers.
Pros
- Ease of paying bills takes less time to get done
- Customizing reports one time and not having to repeat
- Set up invoicing to bill customers makes it easy to create and send out
Cons
- Home page layout can get confusing to navigate
- Helps keep track of all debits and credits in a positive way
Implementation was smooth but it still took some time after training to click on different tabs to learn about where everything was located since it was a different setup from our QuickBooks 2015 version we were previously using. There were a few issues with finding certain reports that I had to reach out to the guy who did our training to figure out how to run it. We started using QB's right away and worked out the system to get to a place where we felt comfortable using it.
We mostly use [QuickBooks Online Advanced] in one location but do have times where we work at a different location or at home remotely where we can just login to our system from anywhere and not have any issues. We previously used [QuickBooks's] 2015 on a desktop and never had the option to access [QuickBooks] at any other location.
Having QuickBooks Online [Advanced] gives us access to run all our financial documents in one place, keeps everything organized, creates invoices for customers, add and pay invoices in the system and update the chart of accounts to match the bank reports or link up the bank account to update the chart of accounts. We currently don't use payroll because we use an outside system we process payroll with.
