Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced
Our finance and accounting team is using QuickBooks Online Advanced to keep track of our accounting and finances. It is a great tool for small businesses. It is very user friendly and very cost effective compared to other accounting software. We are also using several apps along with the software. We love the Fathom App that comes free with our subscription to QuickBooks Online Advanced as it tracks KPIs and prepares nice management reports that we can share within the organization.

- Customization is limited (but more available than other QuickBooks subscriptions)
- Ability to segment data is limited to only Classes and Locations. Other software has more functionality.

- Starting off as a small business, it had a very positive impact to allow us to report financial metrics to management
- As our business has grown, the lack of customization and functionality has had a negative impact. At some point a company may outgrow QuickBooks Online Advanced
We have been using QuickBooks Online Advanced because of its cost and ease of use compared to other cloud-based accounting software for small businesses and mid-size businesses. Its third party apps have been able to fill holes in its functionality and reporting capabilities. However, at some point a business may outgrow QuickBooks Online Advanced and will need to look at other options for mid-size businesses.
