Our organization utilizes QuickBooks Online Advanced every day. We process cash receipts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, creating reports, etc. in the software. As far as business problems, the software has made it more easier to produce reports that are more understandable for staff and the foundation's board. In addition, the budgeting feature makes the entire budgeting process more efficient. With access to the software online by various users it has also made staff very aware of the finances. Personally, utilizing QuickBooks Online Advanced has made my position more efficient.

The process for the setup and training process was not easy but not very simple. The key to the correct setup was the creation of a great chart of accounts. From a review of tutorials on the software, I was able to learn how to set up a great chart of accounts. The ability to utilize the chart of accounts template in the software made it so much easier to upload company data from another accounting system. With the assistance in setting up a great chart of accounts and the ease of uploading company financial information, it allowed me to start using the software fairly soon.

Currently, the users of the system utilize the system for checking account balances as well as pulling information on cash receipts and cash disbursement. Other users enjoy looking at information both through computers and mobile apps. I myself enjoy looking up information on the go utilizing the cloud-based system to answer questions when I am not in my office.
