Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced

We service many clients for taxes, bookkeeping, and financial analysis. QBO is a great tool to keep those clients organized. Most of our work is centered around classifying transactions and then providing year-end data for tax filing. We also offer consulting services for businesses that are too small for a formal CFO, which the QBO reporting does an adequate job facilitating.

Pros

  • CSV data export to pivot data would be nice
  • more options for period comparisons in reports

It just kinda happened. But it was easy to adapt to.
All of our team is remote and has been remote.
It makes it so we can literally serve clients around the world.
I've used Great Plains, PeopleSoft, and a couple of Oracle products over the years...they wish they were as easy to use as QBO.

Oracle Access Management, Infor M3 (formerly Lawson Intentia), Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
QBO is easy to use, is easy to set up, and easy to maintain. My mother who is pushing 80 even finds it easy to use. The thing I find impressive is that you can make it useful for big and small businesses. We have some businesses that do less than 50 transactions a month and others that are complicated with payroll, inventory, et cetera and it doesn't feel like QBO is overkill or lacking in complexity for either type of client.
