From an Accountants point of view

The online capability is probably the most important part of QBOA. Accessing remotely from anywhere has been a great aspect of switching to remote work. Being able to run the books from all aspects with attachable files for documentation is a nice filing source. Payroll abilities are great, especially for the cost and tracking.

Setup is easy and imports were simple for me. A standard person without an accounting background may find it a bit confusing and I advise that there is a note to upload the chart of accounts before any other import. I also advise some clarification on beginning balances and how to enter them.

I work remotely and use the cloud online access daily. It is a great way to show work activity with the audit log and work with the other co-workers simultaneously. Note that some areas will not let multiple people in one invoice or payroll at the same time so communication is key and it would be nice if QB had a pop-up notice like GP does saying that the person is out of the invoice now.

QBOA covers literally everything our business does with the exception of bulk product purchases broken down into our products. It would be nice to see an area for itemized BOLs to be entered to maintain true cogs for each individual SKU produced. Also would like to see the suggestion of this "may be a duplicate" if the phone number or name or email matches an already created vendor or customer to eliminate duplicates.
