Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Pro
I am a single accountant. This software is easy enough for my clients to use and then provide to me on a quarterly basis for review and corrections. I also use it as the only software for my own accounting and for those couple of clients where I am also the bookkeeper.
- Ease of use for a non accountant.
- Easy to correct when the client makes a mistake.
- The payroll system is a nightmare unless the client is well versed. I strongly recommend that all of my clients use an outside payroll service.
- One additional report that I would like to see, but have not yet found, is a report that will simply list all invoices by number for a given period of time. This can be helpful not only in an audit, but in verifying that the client has not doubled up on using the same in number.
- It allows my clients to have more control over their own business.
- Once a client does their own bookkeeping, it is easier to justify my fee if they want to outsource that to me.

This was a miserable program when reports had to be updated to include new expense categories.
