Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

We use Rippling to manage employee PTO, benefits, and payroll. Since we are a small start-up Rippling helps keep us organized and in one space, it's simple and easy to use with useful features that help me keep track of PTO requests and move staff between teams as we grow.

  • It can be clunky to make a change in manager for an employee, the first few times I couldn't make the change.

From everything I have heard Rippling is considered easy to use and understand. From PTO to benefits it's simple to get new hires up and running and make changes once they start. As a manager, I like being able to move employees to different teams and check on PTO balances and requests.

Yes

I generally find Rippling quite usable. Simple icons and not too many choices mean less confusion overall. Sometimes I find the admin account a bit less user-friendly, but when I use the employee account it's very simple. The admin account just isn't always clear when I switch between the two so that might be my own confusion.
I like that it's not over-engineered. It's basic without being bare bones. I like how photos are included since names can be hard for me to recall, in some ways it reminds me of Slack. It can be a little bit annoying navigating to multiple pages instead of being able to do a few things on one page, but I otherwise really like it.
