Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

We use it as our fundamental HR software, responsible for benefits, insurance policies, time-off requests, organizational charts, and various other endeavors. Rippling has allowed us to streamline most of our HR efforts into an easy-to-use software that organizes all of our data and requests into the appropriate field they should be in.

Pros

  • They have a great way of taking time off. We noticed how many different options they provide, how easy it is, and they dedicate the page to seeing requests and their approval process.
  • The payroll section is simple yet detailed, breaking down the financial aspects to us in easy-to-consume terminology.
  • They have great use of insurance policies and organizing what each employee is responsible for in their benefits package(s).

Cons

  • I think having a functioning chat room with HR representatives would help to streamline HR questions of various emergency/responsibility.
  • I wish they could message higher management of time off requests more easily/quickly.
  • Being able to integrate within most company's CRM or communication software(s) would help with efficiency.
  • It has made taking time off for our employees a breeze compared to before.
  • It can be annoying to have to wait for approval of higher ups with no communication channel attached.
  • It has made it very easy for employees to see their payroll and benefits in more detailed expression.
I am not quite sure how they differ, but I do know that when it comes to HR software and CRM databases, the HR functionality with Rippling cannot be beaten by any other. HubSpot makes more sense for a sales-driven CRM, but lacks in the latter in comparison to Rippling.

I mean, this is as easy as it gets when it comes to other CRM's or other HR software. For the most part, Rippling's UX is well received. Rippling is very simple and easy to use, and when you understand the very basics, you then learn the more intricate complexities that lie within the software. It is not just a good design but actually has valuable and helpful functions.
I think where Rippling is best suited is to have all of your general and most of your HR-relate questions answered all on one easy-to-use software that organizes it all. When it comes to payroll, your benefit options, or taking time off, Rippling is a massive help in streamlining HR requests. I just wish we could integrate this with our company's CRM to have better communication with our higher management about requests and questions.
