Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

We use Rippling to manage healthcare benefits including employee HSAs, time off, payroll, and SSO corporate software services.
  • Focus: the features that Rippling offers all work well. There is a noticeable lack of clutter and confusion in the app.
  • Health insurance management; our recent open enrollment period was very smooth.
  • HSA; the integrated HSA is convenient.
  • The UI design could be improved a bit. There are times when my eye passed over something important that I later had to look hard for. It made me wonder why that element wasn't more prominent.
  • Still - this is mitigated by lack of clutter on most pages.
  • I can only speak from the perspective of an employee. Rippling reduces friction for employees.
Workday has a tremendous amount of features. Its features can probably be tweaked to fit any business. But it is way more complicated than is necessary for a business like ours.

Workday also feels like enterprise software in that everything is 10 clicks away as you navigate through customized menu after customized menu. Rippling is smaller and more focused. As an employee, I like this.

Great focus in the app.
Rippling simply feels like a right-size platform for small to medium sized business. Maybe it's great for enterprises as well; but the level of detail and focus seems exactly right for our startup. It has the features we need for an employee management platform.
