Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

The product helps us to organize our people operations as well as pull in proper management. We needed something easy and streamlined and this tool seems to accomplish that for us. The interface is easy to use for various levels of technical comfort. We use Rippling to manage time, benefits, payroll, learning, and more. Our team loves how other tools are also integrated into this tool.

Pros

  • As a manager it has great tools that make our roles more efficient, like time off management.

Cons

  • As an admin/manager role the time off is not in the admin area but in your personal area. That is strange to me. I manage time for my time through my Employee Account.
  • I would love to be able to create shortcuts on my home screen - places I go to most often.
  • I'd love to be able to merge the admin preferences into the individual's Employee Account so there aren't two places to have to manage. Based on the role all items turn on or off.
  • Our team has the proper tools at their fingertips to remain in the know of all things HR and benefits in an organized and easy-to-use platform.
  • Our managers feel comfort accessing their team's time off from one place, especially those with client-facing team members. We have to ensure proper coverage.
  • Knowing the Anniversaries and Birthdays so quickly gives me confidence as a manager to share news about each team member.
Much easier to use from an admin, manager, and team member perspective. Too clunky and challenging to make changes. Managers' roles weren't very robust so the admins had to make changes on our behalf.
As an employee, the tool was even worse. It just wasn't great and was expensive for the offering.
Never used rippling support.

Super simple to use as I've already stated over and over. I don't really have much bad to say based on my role within my organization. Very easy for all levels of team access. Confidence in the data within. Overall the worst usability is the FSA submission process. The hoops you have to go through to get a paper receipt submitted are silly, but I can use the debit pretty much anywhere - however most places I've tried to use it, it declines the card.
Rippling has made the management of our teams more efficient as a whole. It is much less lucky than our previous system. Having all our tools in one place for HR is really nice. Makes it easier on all involved. The notification settings are also very handy. One of my favorite tools which might sound silly is the Anniversaries and Birthdays app. Before the beginning of the next month, we get an email notification of all birthdays and anniversaries that will occur in that next month. Really great for a VP with a large team to have handy. The time off is super simple and is one of the easiest I've seen in regard to having to make edits. Very few of the tools are having to be touched by our people ops team members. The manager can really manage at a higher level than our other tools in the past.
